Lisa Wisman Weil

Lisa Wisman Weil is a language scientist with research interests focused on child language development and developmental language disorders.  Lisa studies language in children with typical development, specific language impairment, and those with autism spectrum disorder.  Lisa is a postdoctoral research associate in the CARE lab at Boston University and a Research Affiliate in the Gabrieli lab at MIT.  Lisa is the coordinator of Project BILD (Brain Imaging Language Development), a collaborative research study between researchers at MIT and Boston University. This study investigates the brain bases of language deficits in children with language based learning deficits and those with autism spectrum disorder.
